Ambernath Shiv Mandir | अंबरनाथ शिव मंदिर | Ancient Temple

 Hello Guys,👋

This is Shardul today I am taking you all with me to the Shiv Mandir which is located in Ambernath.

The Shiv Mandir of Ambernath is a historic 11th-century Hindu temple, still in use, at Ambarnath near Mumbai, in Maharashtra, India. It is also known as the Ambreshwar Shiva Temple and known locally as Puratana Shivalaya. It is situated on the bank of the Vadavan (Waldhuni) river, 2 km away from Ambarnath railway station (East). The temple was built in 1060 AD beautifully carved in stone.
It was probably built by Shilahara king Chhittaraja, it may also have been rebuilt by his son Mummuni.

Unusually, the sanctuary or garbhagriha is below ground, reached by some 20 steps down from the mandapa, and is open to the sky as the shikhara tower above stops abruptly at a little above the height of the mandapa, and was apparently never completed. It is in bhumija form, and if completed would have been close in form to the Udayesvara Temple also known as Neelkantheshwara temple in Udaipur, Madhya Pradesh, begun in 1059, and the Gondeshwar Temple at Sinnar.

It is clear from what was built that the shikhara would have followed these in having four corner bands of gavaksha-honeycomb sweeping uninterrupted up the full height of the tower, while in between each face has rows of five spirelets on individual podia, reducing in size up the tower.
The mandapa has three porches. Much of the exterior figure carving is damaged, but some female and divine figures remain.

One night temple

The roots of Ambernath go back to the Mahabharata period. It is a proverb that the Pandavas spent most of their unknown years in Ambarnath and built this ancient temple with huge stones in a single night. They had to leave this place for fear of constant chase by the Kauravas. The temple could not be completed again. The absence of a peak just above the sanctum sanctorum of the sanctum sanctorum with the sky - 20 steps below the pavilion, reinforces this notion. The temple, which has withstood the storm of the weather, is still standing with its head bowed. Whenever the Valdhuni river flows from the armpit in a flood, its first sight explodes on this compound surrounded by tamarind and mango trees.
The Ambarnath temple is compared to Dilwara in Abu, Udayeshwar in Udaipur, and Gondeshwar in Sinnar. Such an enchanting mythological temple so close to Mumbai, even if you haven't seen it. Then say, whose misfortune is it!

Visiting time in the temple (Ambernath shiv mandir Timing): -

The temple remains open throughout the day for darshan. A huge fair is organized here on the occasion of Shivaratri in the month of Magha.
This temple has been rebuilt but the legend is that it was built by the Pandavas with a single stone.

Hello guys,👋 This is Shardul & In this Blog, I am showing Khandoba Mandir. Mulgaon village in badlapur is famous for Lord Khandoba Temple situated at top of mulgaon hill. The village is placed at badlapur-murbad highway, 10 km away from badlapur city. And the most important point for foodies, don’t forget to taste vada-pav and misal at mulgaon. It has a unique taste and flavors which you will carry as a return gift. The road towards the temple is so beautiful. The temple has well-built steps from base village to top. It takes around 20-30 minutes to ascend the hill. On way, it offers scenic views of surroundings. Remember to carry enough water, as the walk can turn out tiring sometimes. Also, the place offers an amazing experience of sunrise and sunset. Once in a year, there is a fair named ‘Khandobachi Yatra’ arranged at this place. The temple is enlightened and the atmosphere turns devotional. THE END I also made vlog on Mulgaon Khandoba Mandir You can check it here !!!!! htt

Waghjai Mandir Badlapur | वाघजई मंदिर बदलापूर | Trekking into the deep forest

Hello guys, 👋 This is Shardul, & today I am sharing my experience of Waghjai temple badlapur . The origin of waghjai temple is to protect villagers from tigers, Waghjai temple can be located on any mountains. So, me & my friends planning to go on short treks we decided to waghjai temple which is around 4km away from the badlapur railway station. The Waghjai Devi Temple is located on a hill and is a quiet place. It takes about half an hour to reach this temple. The nearest station is Badlapur. This is a great family trek. There is also a small village at the start of the Waghjai Devi temple. If the start of the trek is a bit confusing, you can ask the help of villagers. This beautiful road takes you to the temple But, be careful when you come here, cause after all it's a forest so there are various snakes. Most of them aren't poisonous though.  Like this little one 👇 This beautiful scenery will steal your heart, especially in the monsoon, this forest is way more beaut
